Sr Specialist, Product Stewardship招聘 - 塞拉尼斯（南京）化工有限公司

Responsibilities：

1) Manage product-related risk through the entire product life cycle and assure compliance of products with applicable regulations and standards, e.g. new raw materials, new products, new applications and changes that require regulatory evaluation
2) Handle regulation-based inquiries from customers, e.g. RoHS, REACH-like regulations, global chemical inventories, and food contact, etc.
3) Lead the registration/notification/reporting of existing or new chemical substances in the APAC jurisdiction
4) Author regulatory-compliant SDSs and labels of products and update these whenever needed
5) Manage compositional and inventory profiles of products in SAP for compliant transport in APAC
6) Lead or support PS global/regional projects as well as business projects to ensure regulatory compliance
7) Interpret product safety regulations and standards in APAC, determine applicability to products, address any impact on the products/businesses, and provide trainings about Product Stewardship, work processes and chemical regulations to relevant stakeholders
8) Participate in industry associations’ activities for advocacy on product safety regulations and standards wherever applicable

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1) Bachelor degree or above, chemistry-related (e.g. chemical engineering, polymer materials science and engineering, environmental engineering and science, food and science engineering, medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry)

2) More than eight years’ work experience in chemical industry in roles that involve Chemical Management, Product Safety, Product Stewardship and/or Regulatory Affairs

3) Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and good in SAP skills

4) Prior employment with an MNC in a role pertaining to Chemical Management, Product Safety, Product Stewardship and/or Regulatory Affairs

5) Background in chemistry, polymer material, environmental, EHS or Chemical Management

6) Familiarity with applicable industry, local or regional specific product safety regulations or standards and best practices for Chemical Management, Product Safety, Product Stewardship and/or Regulatory Affairs

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1) Product safety regulations and standards in APAC, including China, Taiwan area, Korea, Philippines and Australia but not limited to these countries/areas

2) Familiarity with Hazcom regulations (e.g. chemicals classification, labeling and SDS), registration/notification/reporting of chemicals under the new chemical laws, REACH-like regulations, food contact and pharma/medical regulations

3) Experience in interacting with governmental authorities/industry associations on Chemical Management, Product Safety, Product Stewardship and/or Regulatory Affairs

4) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, good computer skills

5) Result-oriented, quick learner, adaptive and team work player
